Searching SEC EDGAR and downloading filings on StatementScout costs nothing and has no daily limit: it is a lookup against a public government database.
The AI summaries and comparisons are the part that costs real money to run. Instead of selling tokens or subscriptions, this edition pays for them out of a fixed shared budget for the whole site, refreshed once a day. Most of the time you will not notice any limit. On a busy day, once the budget is spent, the summary and comparison pages say so plainly instead of pretending to work; search and bulk download keep working meanwhile.
There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel. If you landed here looking for a receipt or a cancelled charge, see this page.
Questions
Why is only one data source live? US SEC EDGAR is the only exchange on the list with a free public data feed. The others are shown on the home page for reference, not connected.
Will the AI budget ever be raised? Possibly, depending on how the tool is used. For now it is deliberately small and fixed so the site can stay free for everyone rather than a few heavy users.
